Luke Bujarski

Skift Research, Founding Director
Luke has 20 years of experience working in management consulting and market research in travel. Prior to joining Skift, Luke ran an independent consultancy aimed at deep analysis of online travel distribution trends and brands. In previous roles, Luke led a successful pan-European team of eight analysts for Phocuswright, culminating into the company’s first European conference. Luke has presented his research at numerous global summits and travel conferences. He holds a double BA in Spanish linguistics and international affairs from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master’s in urban planning with a concentration in regional economics, also from the University of Illinois C-U. He speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish.

Rebecca Stone, CFA

Skift Research, Sr. Analyst
Prior to joining Skift, Rebecca worked in equity research focusing primarily on lodging, leisure, and gaming companies. Rebecca has a Master of Accountancy with a focus in Valuation from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a BA in History from Duke University. She is a CFA charterholder and licensed CPA in the State of New York and enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and theater.

Daniel Calabrese

Skift Research, Head of Sales
Daniel is a client centric strategist within the Skift Research Group.  Prior to joining Skift, Daniel helped technology start-ups in San Francisco define their go-to-market strategy, sales processes and customer success initiatives. At Skift, Daniel has built and supported the growing community of travel professionals who subscribe to Skift Research as well as created and executed live thought leadership events ranging from small groups to international events. Daniel has a BA in Communications from San Francisco State University. He lives in Brooklyn, runs Fort Greene Park almost daily and has mastered the art of frying chicken wings at home.

MEGHAN CARTY

Skift Research, Research Associate
Prior to joining the Skift team, Meghan held research and strategy internships with Kantar Futures and PSFK, where she focused on consumer insights, innovation, and trend identification. She is a proud graduate of Barnard College, where she studied Urban Studies and Sociology and worked as a campus tour guide. In her free time, Meghan can be found searching NYC for the best food, trying to score cheap Broadway tickets, and missing her many pets on her mom’s hobby farm at home in Minnesota.

Dave Montali

Skift Research, Research Analyst
Dave Montali joined the Skift Research team after graduating from the Oxford School of Hospitality Management, where he graduated with honors. Dave is based in Berlin, Germany and our first European Analyst to join the team. His work at Skift Research focuses primarily on data analysis and understanding opportunities for new travel technology startups. During his studies he represented his university at the yearly Young Hoteliers Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Margot Bigg

Skift Research, Contributing Analyst
Margot Bigg is a contributing analyst at Skift Research. When not not researching and writing reports on trends in travel, business, and technology for Skift, Margot works as a journalist and editor, covering hotels, culture, and the arts for consumer-focused travel publications around the world. She also consults with travel- and hospitality-focused tech companies, developing and executing content marketing strategies. Margot holds an M.A. in European Politics jointly awarded by Sciences Po Paris and the University of Bath and has lived and worked in India, France, the U.K., and the U.S. She’s bilingual in French and English, and can embarrass herself in Hindi and Spanish.

Anne Duffy

Skift Research, Sales Associate
Before joining Skift, Anne worked at Yelp as an Account Executive for the programatic advertising team, helping clients build successful ad campaigns. In previous roles she was also Marketing Associate at The Market Council, where she assisted in building boutique cosmetic brands from the ground up. Anne is a graduate from the University at Albany with a BA in Psychology & Business. While attending school, she also held a position within the American Marketing Association. Anne’s a retired competitive sailor, looking for any excuse to get on the water and parent to a wonderful dog, Shelby.
